With the xTool Adhesive Removal Film, you can prepare UV DTF designs for clean and precise finishing. The film was specifically developed for the xTool O1 Omni Printer and is particularly useful for creating UV DTF stickers with gold, silver, or holographic effects.
The Adhesive Removal Film is used after the desired design has been printed onto the A Film. It is then laminated onto the printed A Film using the xTool LM1 Laminator. The film picks up excess adhesive outside the design and can then be peeled away together with it. This leaves the desired areas cleanly defined and prepared for subsequent finishing with hot-stamping foil.
How Adhesive Removal Works
- Print your desired UV DTF design onto the appropriate A Film.
- Insert the Adhesive Removal Film into the xTool LM1 Laminator.
- Feed the printed and properly prepared A Film through the laminator with the printed side facing up.
- After laminating, cut the film to size.
- Carefully peel away the excess adhesive and material around the design.
- The standalone design can then be used for further UV DTF finishing steps, for example with gold, silver, or holographic hot-stamping foil.
The Adhesive Removal Film helps create cleaner contours and a more precise finish. It should not be confused with the UV DTF Transfer Film: the Adhesive Removal Film is used to remove excess material, while the Transfer Film is required later to transfer the finished design onto the product.
Ideal for UV DTF Special Effects
The film is particularly useful for UV DTF projects where finishing effects should only appear on specific areas of the design. Once the excess material has been removed, gold, silver, or holographic effects can be selectively applied to the desired areas.
The 328.08 ft (100 m) roll is also suitable for larger production volumes and reduces the frequency of material changes.

The Makeblock success story began in 2012 when Jasen Wang, the founder and CEO, had a groundbreaking idea. As a passionate maker, Jasen realised how difficult it can be to turn a creative idea into reality. This drive gave rise to his first project: Makeblock.
Makeblock specialises in promoting STEAM education. The company helps young students develop their creativity by developing educational infrastructure - including robotics modules, coding software and laser cutters. The aim is to give pupils the tools to learn technical knowledge and creative skills through play.
At the end of 2020, Makeblock expanded its portfolio and entered the field of laser machines. With the xTool project, the product range was expanded so that not only students but also adults can benefit from the solutions. Creativity is not just about developing programming robots - it is also about personalising everyday objects, such as engraving names on mugs or creating works of art from wood.
With the launch of the first product, the xTool D1 in 2021, Jasen started a new chapter in his vision. While the Makeblock success story continues, xTool marks the start of an exciting new episode.
