The Silhouette Cameo 5 Alpha represents the latest generation of the popular cutting plotter series—delivering even greater precision, power, and flexibility. Designed to meet the highest standards, the Cameo 5 Alpha offers enhanced stability, a wider range of compatible materials, and a variety of tools for virtually any creative or professional application.
Extensive Range of Power Tools and Accessories
The Cameo 5 Alpha ensures clean, accurate cuts with speeds of up to 400 mm/s. Whether working with paper, vinyl, fabric, cardstock, or specialty materials, you’ll always have the right tool at hand to achieve perfect results.
The standard package includes an AutoBlade and a pen holder. Additional tools—for heat transfer, embossing, or fabric cutting—are available separately.
Enhanced Technology
In addition to its increased cutting speed, the Cameo 5 Alpha also features an improved pen drawing speed and an upgraded Print & Cut function.
Pre-printed designs are now cut with even greater precision. Thanks to Intelligent Path Technology (IPT), the plotter calculates the optimal cutting order for each job—saving valuable time. With just one touch, completed jobs can be repeated instantly.
Electrostatic Cutting Mat for Delicate Paper Work
Using the optional electrostatic cutting bed, thin materials up to 0.5 mm thick can be held in place securely—without the need for adhesives.
Electrostatic adhesion prevents curling, tearing, and deformation—especially when working with fine papers.

Silhouette Studio is currently available for PC and Mac only. Chromebook, iPad, tablets or other mobile applications are not supported. For mobile devices you can use the Silhouette Go App with limited functionality.
