The transparent protective sheets are placed directly on the Electrostatic Bed. This keeps the sensitive surface of the mat protected while the electrostatic adhesion continues to provide a secure hold for the material.

With continued use, the adhesive effect of the protective sheet may decrease. Silhouette recommends replacing the sheet as soon as it no longer holds materials securely. This allows you to easily restore the functionality of the Electrostatic Mat without having to replace the entire mat.
