This permanent adapter is a transitional connector from the German standard plug (CEE7) to the Swiss 3-pin plug (Type 12). The transitional piece is for one-time use and serves as a secure mechanical connection.
The permanent adapter is connected to a German plug using the insertion aid. It irreversibly transforms the German plug into a Swiss T12 plug. The conversion is permanent, requiring the destruction of the attached Swiss plug attachment for removal.
