The CNC unit is an extension that can be used with both the xTool MetalFab 1200W and the 800W welding machine.
Its large working area allows you to insert workpieces up to 61 × 61 cm in size, or – using the integrated pass-through – process workpieces up to 61 cm wide and of unlimited length. Different CNC attachments enable you to cut metals up to 10 mm thick (with 1200W) as well as perform CNC laser cleaning at a speed of 4 cm/s.

Thanks to a high-resolution camera system combined with advanced AI algorithms, your objects can be automatically and efficiently placed on the workpiece to minimize material waste. Access over 108 laser parameters directly on the MetalFab smart display, or define your own parameters via the free software.

In-house hardware developments ensure perfect laser cutting results:
The laser focus and X-axis are automatically adjusted to your material in real time, making precise cutting of wavy metals possible. Vibrations are actively compensated for, and collisions with obstacles in the laser path are automatically avoided, so your laser process won’t need constant interruptions.

Examples of cutting performance with the xTool MetalFab:
1200W: Burr-free cuts for 5 mm stainless steel, 4 mm aluminum, 3 mm brass, 10 mm carbon steel/galvanized sheet.
800W: Burr-free cuts for 3 mm stainless steel, 2 mm aluminum, 2 mm brass, 8 mm carbon steel/galvanized sheet.
