Brother, once a small family business founded in 1908, has developed into a multinational company over the last 100 years. The brand began as a small sewing machine workshop and has always focussed on innovation and precision craftsmanship. Under the leadership of the Yasui brothers, Brother pioneered the production of affordable, high-quality sewing machines - from mass production in 1932 to the introduction of the first electronic sewing machine in 1976.
Today, Brother is known worldwide, not only for office technology, but also for its first-class sewing, embroidery and quilting machines aimed at beginners and professionals alike. The original pioneering spirit and commitment to creativity are still an integral part of the company's philosophy today.
