Right of withdrawal

As a consumer within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (medacom Gesellschaft für Informationssysteme mbH, R.-Samesreuther-Straße 25, 35510 Butzbach, telephone: +49 60 33/74 888 77, email: info@hobbyplotter.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email).

You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although it is not obligatory. You may also complete and submit the model withdrawal form or any other unequivocal statement electronically via our website withdrawal the contract. If you make use of this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Exclusions or early expiry of the right of withdrawal:

  1. goods that are not prefabricated and are manufactured on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer or are clearly personalised;
  2. sealed data storage media (including USB sticks, CDs and DVDs, etc.), computer software and licence codes, if you have unsealed them.
  3. In the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (including licences, activation codes, software downloads and other electronic files), the right of withdrawal expires where:
  1. performance has begun;
  2. you have expressly consented to performance beginning before the expiry of the withdrawal period; and
  3. you have acknowledged that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees because of such reimbursement.

You will only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning goods that can normally be returned by parcel post.

For goods which, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by parcel post, you will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Those costs are estimated not to exceed approximately EUR 119.00 within Germany.
